IUPUI Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research
The mission of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research is to advance the realization of world-class research and creative activities that address important national and global needs, and impact the economic development of Indiana and the nation. The office provides a range of services supportive of research on the IUPUI campus.
IUPUI is increasingly growing its research partnerships with other campuses of Indiana University and Purdue University – capitalizing on its central location and unique strengths. The university’s research efforts produce new knowledge and result in innovative technologies, new generations of students will have the opportunity to participate in ground-breaking research, gaining valuable knowledge and skills that upon graduation will serve them well as they launch their professional careers.
Goul Design Company created an annual report that highlights the broad range of research and creative activity carried out by IUPUI investigators. It is organized around campus-wide strategic initiatives, including the Translating Research into Practice (TRIP), the Signature Centers Initiative, the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI), the IUPUI Arts and Humanities Initiative, and the Imaging Research, and STEM initiatives. The report also provides a glimpse of the outstanding research infrastructure supporting IUPUI investigators, including world-class health and life sciences resources. Moreover, it highlights how, through technology transfer and commercialization, IUPUI research outcomes are making an impact on economic development and social well-being.
