Indiana Folk Art is a site that is currently being developed to showcase some of my creative work outside of the graphic design field. The site will be devoted to the aesthetic appreciation of traditional folk art and creative expressions of self-taught artists.

This identity was created for a sales pitch in conjunction with my pals at Sonar Studios. Swift Development was established in 2001 and work to advance the areas of power, energy, and propulsion. Swift performs extensive laboratory testing, process and performance simulations, and in-house prototyping — moving technologies toward commercialization.

Typography was the first design class that I took at Ivy Tech Columbus. Since then, I've enjoyed working with and researching various typefaces. The fine folks at the FontShop created this list of the 100 Best Typefaces of All Time. The site provides samples of use and historical background for each typeface. Many of the top 20 I use on a daily basis.

The new website has been streamlined to showcase the portfolio and offers a clean styling with easy use and flexible layouts though shortcodes and various developed template options. The worked is displayed in an easily manageable and attractive way. The site includes a portfolio custom post type with the ability to create an unlimited number of portfolios, a portfolio grid page template with pagination and jQuery filters, and a portfolio shortcode that allows the output of work in a one, two or three column layout.

The collection on the site will continue to grow. The site’s design emphasizes the evolving body of work. We’ll post new projects as they launch, and go back into the archives to add projects from our past.
